Apartments Costa d'Or Calafell Tarragona - Stewart and Jan Tarbit.

The Costa d'Or apartments were recommended by friends for their excellent location 30 meters to the beautiful clean safe beach. The accommodation is spotlessly clean spacious and modern kitchens and bathrooms were brand new however the furniture in the living diner needs upgrading not that we spent any time there as the resort itself was lovely. Hardly any English tourists and none in football strips-absolute heaven !

In fact the only English people I spoke to lived there and owned a lovely cafe on the promenade. It is a fantastic place for kids as the beach is huge but well patrolled by life guards and there is no shortage of entertainment for adults as there is a huge amount of cafes to eat in right on the beach loads of shops and only a short trip to Barcelona - need i say more!

Primarily a Spanish resort I certainly hope that it stays that way however I do recommend the apartments Costa d'or and Calafell itself for anyone that would like to holiday in mainland Spain without the usual full English breakfast and lager crowd.
